About the Trust

The Western Bay of Plenty Disability Support Trust was formed in 1996, as a not for profit Trust to provide collaborative approach to service organisations in the disability sector who provide advocacy, promotion, education, prevention, support and information for people with disabilities in the Western Bay of Plenty.

Representatives of participating disability organisations come together to form the Western Bay of Plenty Disability Support Trust as the entity to contract with the Ministry of Disabled People or any other contractor or funder.
